This information is invaluable to businesses and consumers alike because everyone wants to know what’s in style right now. In a constantly changing and evolving environment, having up to date style information like this puts you way ahead of the curve.

Last month, we made the following prediction for October:
“While we could always be surprised, we fully expect a greater variety of styles to appear on the Top 10 chart in October, as fall trends continue to grow and take root. Among those trends, we can expect a return in popularity for black tuxedos and suits, and possibly some midnight blue options as well.”
Well, we were a little bit right, but mostly surprised. Instead of the mix of black, brown, grey, and tan tuxedos and suits we saw last October, we have instead the same two Tan Tuxedos and Suits and 7 of the 8 Grey Tuxedos and Suits that we’ve seen since May. While this may not be as exciting, it is a strong indicator that the styles displayed on the Top Ten charts are solid rental styles year round.
Though the Top Ten List is primarily the same styles, there are 2 noteworthy changes in October.
1.) The Steel Grey ‘Twilight’ Tuxedo by Jean Yves is not in the Top position. The top style is still Steel Grey, but it is the Steel Grey ‘Allure Men’ Tuxedo by Jean Yves. This is primarily significant because The Steel Grey ‘Twilight’ Tuxedo has been in the top spot now for 8 out of 10 months this year. Both in April and October, this powerhouse style took #2 instead of #1.
2.) This is the first time in a long time that we’ve seen a Midnight Blue tuxedo on the Top 10 charts. It’s not quite as much variety as we were expecting in October, but we did expect that Midnight Blue ‘Maxwell’ Tuxedo would be a strong contender this month.
It’s still possible that we’ll see more variety in November, and we fully expect to see a resurgence in Black tuxedos come this winter. Check back with us to see how spot on we are!
